Teacher Appreciation Week begins tomorrow!

This year, we’re listening to—and standing with—educators to demand the respect they deserve and the resources students need to succeed.

The Senate and the House will take up resolutions acknowledging and honoring educators for the vital role they play in equipping the next generation to succeed—in school and in life.

The celebration began last Thursday, with an historic state dinner for educators at the White House—an event typically reserved for foreign heads of state or government. As First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, an educator herself, said when she announced the event, “It’s the first time ever!”

Help spread the word and check out NEA’s toolkit for Teacher Appreciation Week.

In solidarity,
